The Kylie Jenner Timothée Chalamet relationship has travelled a long road from anonymous parking-lot dates at Tito’s Taco stand in Santa Monica to a very public declaration of love at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards, where Chalamet told a room full of Hollywood’s finest, ‘Thank you to my partner of three years. The pair were first seen together at Paris Fashion Week in January 2023, at the Jean Paul Gaultier show, shortly after sources told Us Weekly that Jenner and Travis Scott, the father of her two children, had split over the holidays. By April, gossip account DeuxMoi was posting couple alerts, and by September they had kissed on camera at a Beyoncé concert in front of what felt like the entire internet.
For much of that first year the language from those around them was deliberately vague: ‘casual,’ ‘not serious,’ ‘taking it day by day.’ By December 2023, though, a source told People that Jenner was officially calling Chalamet her boyfriend, describing him as ‘very good for Kylie’ and noting that ‘since dating him, she seems very content, relaxed and focused.’
Chalamet, for his part, was characteristically oblique whenever the press pushed. A GQ interview in October 2023 produced a reference to South Park’s Worldwide Privacy Tour parody rather than anything resembling a straight answer. Jenner, meanwhile, told her British Vogue interviewer in August 2024 that ‘privacy is so important to me in life,’ and revealed she navigates New York City unnoticed with a baseball cap and a specific angle she tilts her face.
Awards Season Brought the Kylie Jenner Timothée Chalamet Romance Into the Open
The couple’s most visible stretch came during the 2025 and 2026 awards seasons. Jenner attended the BAFTAs, the Oscars, the Golden Globes, the Critics Choice Awards and the Santa Barbara Film Festival alongside Chalamet. At the 2025 BAFTAs, the pair were photographed wearing matching Panthère Cartier rings. At the 2025 Oscars, they kissed during the ceremony and then changed outfits for the Vanity Fair party. At the 2026 Oscars, they held hands throughout and posed together at the Vanity Fair party, Jenner in a custom McQueen dress, Chalamet in a white Chrome Hearts suit.
Then came the speeches. At the 2026 Critics Choice Awards, Chalamet thanked ‘my partner of three years’ and told her he loved her from the podium. Days later at the Golden Globes, he said ‘for my parents, for my partner, I love you.’ The day after that, Jenner’s hand appeared holding his Golden Globe trophy in a photo on his Instagram, which passed as a soft launch of their relationship by Hollywood standards.
By January 2026, a source told Us Weekly that the couple ‘basically live together’, Jenner staying at Chalamet’s place when she doesn’t have her children, he spending time at her house in Hidden Hills. ‘Kylie has never dated someone like him, and it’s been refreshing because they have a very easy, chill relationship,’ the insider said.
In December 2025, Chalamet had made it even more concrete by rapping about Jenner on a track titled ‘4 Raws Remix’ with rapper EsDeeKid: ‘Girl got a billion / What the fuck, what a wonderful feeling.’ Hard to read that as ambiguous.
Chalamet’s mother, Nicole Flender, offered a verdict in a Curbed interview in April 2025: ‘I have to say she’s lovely. She’s very nice to me.’ Chalamet’s sister Pauline has been photographed with Jenner at fashion events, and sources say he has built a bond with Jenner’s children, Stormi and Aire, who know him as a friend of their mother’s.
