Manchester’s Fiera Dance has been awarded Dance Group of the Year at the prestigious A-List Asiana Awards, held at the Grand Venue Banqueting Hall. The awards recognise outstanding British Asian creatives, businesses, and performers across the UK.
Founded in 2023 by Chandni Patel, Fiera Dance has quickly become one of Manchester’s most dynamic cultural enterprises. Operating from Fiera Studios in M16, the company teaches Bollywood, Bachata, and Reggaeton to over 100 students weekly. It also offers performance teams, wedding choreography, and studio hire, making it a vibrant hub for dance enthusiasts in the city.
The award recognises both the quality of Fiera’s professional shows and the impact of its
community studio. Patel emphasised the company’s mission in her acceptance speech:
“People don’t walk into class just for fun. They come carrying stress, grief, burnout. For those
hours they get to breathe, laugh, and remember they’re more than what they’re going through.”
Fiera’s performance group grew directly out of its classes, with students forming a team that
now delivers professional shows at weddings, festivals, and community events. Organisers
consistently praise the group’s energy and high-quality choreography.
Looking ahead to 2026, Fiera Dance is expanding with new beginner courses and a busy
calendar of bookings. From January, Fiera Studios will launch:
- Bollywood Beginners – Women Only
- Bollywood Beginners – Open to All
- Ongoing Bachata and Reggaeton classes
No prior experience is required, with classes designed to help adults move, connect, and build
confidence.
