Queues out the door, happy families, and an unforgettable day of animal-themed adventures – Arighi Bianchi’s Safari Fun Day with Chester Zoo was one of its most successful events yet!
On Sunday 6th July, the iconic Macclesfield showroom was transformed into a wild wonderland as excited kids (and their keepers!) from across the region joined the Arighi team for a day packed with family-friendly fun, in partnership with the incredible Chester Zoo Rangers.
A Wild Day Out for All Ages
From 10am to 4pm, guests of all ages enjoyed a wide variety of interactive, safari-themed children’s crafts and activities, including pebble painting, hand art, face-painting, and animal puppet-making with Chester Zoo’s fabulous ranger team. There was something for everyone – with giggles, creativity and paint-splattered little hands galore.
Pre-booked slots for hand art and pebble painting sold out fast, and the queues for face-painting were proof of just how much guests enjoyed getting into the safari spirit.
Exploring the Animal Trail
In addition to the crafts and ranger activities, families loved following the free in-store animal trail, which led explorers on a fun journey through the store, discovering fascinating facts about wildlife along the way.
And popular in-store eatery, Caffè AB, was also buzzing throughout the day, with specially prepared children’s safari lunch boxes proving to be a big hit for hungry adventurers.

While the little ones were getting creative with crafts and face paint, there was plenty to inspire the grown-ups too.
