Hailey Bieber has shared a carousel of photographs to mark Jack Blues Bieber’s second birthday, offering one of the more candid looks the couple have given at life with their toddler. The post went up on Instagram on Saturday, alongside a caption that read simply: ‘our sweet baby is 2🩵happy birthday Jack Blues.’
Jack was born in August 2024, according to The Independent. He is the first child of Hailey and Justin Bieber, who announced they were expecting in May 2024, not long after renewing their wedding vows. The pair had originally married in a civil ceremony in New York City in 2018, then marked the occasion with a larger ceremony in 2019, according to People.
What the Jack Blues Bieber Birthday Photos Show
The carousel spans a range of settings: outdoors, at home, and on what appears to be family travels. In one image, Justin walks alongside his son along a grassy path that looks like a golf course, holding the toddler’s hand. Jack is dressed in a bright red jersey and matching loose trousers; Justin is in a white T-shirt, jean shorts and a black beanie.
A family portrait shows the three of them sitting on a floral-patterned couch in what looks like a barn. Jack is perched on Justin’s knees while Hailey watches beside them. Hailey also shared a number of solo shots with Jack. In that outdoor image, Hailey is crouching down to give Jack a kiss. He is in a bright green two-piece; she is in thong sandals, a black top and grey sweatpants.
Mouse-Shaped Pancakes and a First Birthday to Compare
Beyond the main carousel, Hailey also posted an Instagram Story for the occasion. The Independent reports it showed mouse-shaped pancakes decorated with whipped cream and candles, a detail that did not make it into the main grid post but rounds out what sounds like a proper birthday morning at home.
It is worth comparing to how she marked the milestone a year ago. For Jack Blues Bieber’s first birthday, Hailey shared a dedicated photo shoot and wrote: ‘one year of you my beautiful boy. Happy 1st Birthday Jack Blues, you are joy personified.’ The second-birthday post has a looser, more everyday feel to it, less curated shoot, more family album.
Taken together, the images from both birthdays sketch out a picture of a couple who appear to spend a lot of hands-on time with their son, in places ranging from barn-style living rooms to lakeside docks to open countryside. Whether that is by design or just what a life with a toddler actually looks like, the results make for a more grounded set of photographs than the typical celebrity birthday grid post.
