The Best Buy 60th Anniversary Sale runs from Monday, 17 August through Sunday, 23 August, with discounts across TVs, laptops, earbuds, robot vacuums and more, and a fresh wave of deals landing on the weekend of 21 to 23 August. Some offers are available online; others require a trip in person.
The chain started life in 1966 as a store called Sound of Music. Six decades on, the anniversary sale covers a wide sweep of tech, and on Saturday, 22 August, six in-store-only deals will go live, including one on gift cards, limited to stock on hand.
Best Buy 60th Anniversary Sale: Membership Perks Worth Knowing
You do not need any membership to shop the sale. A free My Best Buy account gets you free standard shipping. Step up to a paid tier and the offer improves: My Best Buy Plus costs $49.99 per year and My Best Buy Total costs $179.99 per year. Both paid tiers come with faster free shipping, exclusive pricing, a 60-day return window on most products, and early access to select sales.
According to Best Buy Corporate, Plus and Total members also earn 10% back in rewards on most purchases during the sale period, which stacks on top of any further upcoming promotions. If you are buying several things across the week, that adds up.
