The Hunter Kate Moss campaign for autumn/winter 2026 is one of the most-talked-about fashion pairings of the season, with the brand marking its 170th anniversary by bringing back a face that has been synonymous with its wellington boots for more than two decades.
It is just one chapter in a crowded AW26 campaign season, with Celine, Fendi, Prada, Saint Laurent, Frame and a clutch of others all releasing their first visuals. But Hunter’s reunion with Moss, shot by Mikael Jansson, carries a weight of history that most of the others cannot quite match.
Hunter Kate Moss campaign: why this one lands differently
According to Schön! Magazine, Moss’s connection with Hunter stretches back more than twenty years, with the defining moment coming at Glastonbury in 2005, when she wore black Hunter wellington boots with short shorts and a waistcoat. That image lodged itself firmly in the cultural memory, and the brand has traded on its festival credibility ever since. Bringing Moss back for the anniversary campaign is less a cynical nostalgia play than a genuine closing of a circle.
The AW26 collection itself splits by territory. In Europe, the headline piece is a 170th Anniversary Original Tall Wellington in Hunter Green, while the U.S. and Canada offering includes the Original Tall Wellington in Black Croco, the Giania Waterproof Suede Tall Boot and the Maribel Puffy Snow Bootie, all confirmed by Schön! Magazine. The full collection is available now at Hunter Boots, as well as hunterboots.com, Nordstrom.com and Anthropologie.com, according to Authentic Brands Group.
The rest of the AW26 campaign season, from Celine to Saint Laurent
Hunter aside, there is plenty else to take in. Celine leads the pack with a Parisian campaign lensed by Zoë Ghertner, all clean lines and the kind of studied cool the house does reliably well.
Frame set its campaign in the Hollywood Hills with Kendall Jenner in front of the lens, shot by Robin Galiegue. Fendi, meanwhile, put the Peekaboo bag centre stage across a trio of faces: Monica Bellucci, Yara Shahidi and Tang Yan, all photographed by Laura Sciacovelli.
Prada goes cinematic with a new visual called Simple Stories, starring Hunter Schafer and Troye Sivan. Saint Laurent’s cast includes Connor Storrie, Rosé and Liu Wen. Chloë Sevigny takes the lead for 7 For All Mankind’s autumn effort, while Coach’s campaign splits between Elle Fanning and PinkPantheress, both shot by Elaine Constantine.
Lafayette 148 went with Brigitte Lacombe behind the camera and a cast that includes Christine Baranski, Missy Robbins and Phyllis Kao. J.Crew, shot by Robert Nethery, stars True Whitaker, Amandla Stenberg and Hari Nef.
Then there is Gucci’s Primavera campaign, which features Moss again, this time lip-syncing to Chris Isaak’s rendition of ‘Wicked Game’. A busy season, then, for one particular face.
The Hunter Kate Moss campaign collection is available to shop now, with the Anniversary Original Tall Wellington the piece most likely to move quickly given the attention the campaign has already drawn.
