Tüyap brings its 35th Plast Eurasia to Istanbul this coming December. Plastics machinery, raw materials and production technologies will share one venue, and ahead of opening the organisers are stepping up their trade visitor drive in leading European markets.
İstanbul – Plast Eurasia takes place from 2-5 December 2026 at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul, mounted by Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. in partnership with PAGEV and supported by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade. Purchasing specialists, distributors, producers of raw materials, technology suppliers and manufacturers are the audiences the event courts, its ambition being to knit trade ties across the entire plastics sector.
“For 35 years, Plast Eurasia supports the growth and development of the industry by bringing companies and professionals together and helping turn those connections into commercial relationships,” explained İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager at Tüyap Fairs Production Inc. “This year, we want to carry that experience forward by creating focused opportunities for buyers, suppliers and technology companies to meet around the needs of today’s plastics industry.”
European buyer drive gathers pace
Some 3 months ahead of the opening, 90% of the stand space has already gone. Organisers foresee 80,000 visitors arriving from Türkiye and overseas, with the trade visitor drive focused on Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Belgium, Greece and Romania, plus Middle Eastern and North African markets.
In December, European sector professionals can meet machinery suppliers, materials houses and further plastics companies all within one Istanbul venue. The international visitor programme exists to spark new commercial contacts, while also letting firms strengthen the trading ties already in place.
Manufacturing technology, materials and machinery dominate the programme
The fair rests on two main pillars: plastic production machinery, and, separately, raw materials and chemicals. Next-generation production technologies and machinery solutions are on show too, with innovation, efficiency and value-added manufacturing framing the commercial agenda.
Such a wide product range lets engineers and buyers weigh up machines, materials and production methods in a single visit, while exhibitors unveil new products, technologies and sector solutions before a multinational audience.
Anniversary features track 35 years of industry change
The 35th-anniversary line-up includes a Milestones Map, a timeline exhibit charting key stages of the fair’s history next to the plastics industry’s own development. A display of vintage plastics production machinery will likewise show how manufacturing technology has moved on across the decades.
At the opening ceremony, plaques go to Kontel Elektronik, Enformak Plastik Teknolojileri and Almak Ateş Makine, three exhibitors present throughout the fair’s 35-year run, in recognition of their long-standing involvement.
The Stage is Yours! programme hands exhibitors 30-minute speaking slots for putting value-added products, technologies, success stories and industry solutions in front of visitors.
Guided routes on offer for hosted buyers
The Hosted Buyer Guided Tour programme directs overseas purchasing delegations, with greater efficiency, to the exhibitors and product categories they care about. Participating buyers get mapped itineraries, trips to demonstration and event zones, access to the Hosted Buyer Lounge and dedicated support services.
Turkish Airlines, the Official Airline of Plast Eurasia, is offering reductions on eligible international return flights to Istanbul travelling between 25 November and 12 December 2026: 10% off Economy Class fares and 15% off Business Class.
